chello lovas
I am soooo sleepy, but I cannot sleep. Jetlag is laaaame.
Sooo, over the past couple of weeks I've been quite busy, not having that much time to chill depsite being on hols.
The end of uni, as per, was chaotic, having to finish work, pack and go out every night. Then after uni ended I had a couple of days til my field trip (in my holiday... shocker!) so I went to stay with Tom in Manchester which was awesome. I also got to see Lisa when I was up there which was cool. It was so good to sit on a couch and watch movies and tv and have home cooked food! We didnt even go out, except to a bar one night. loving it. Then a couple of days later i reluctantly went off to the Lake District for my field trip which turned out to be loooooads of work and quite stressful. We had to do field work all day, then write an essay based on the field work for the next morning, so unless you were sleeping you were working. That was for 3 days, but we were actually there for 5 days (including travelling). After the field trip, cuz I couldn't get the flights I wanted, I stayed with a couple of friends in London. On one of the days there we attempted to drive to Bluewater and somehow ended up in Dover! It was hilarious... we thought we may have gone slightly wrong but really began to panic when all the signs went French! hahahaha. Evenually we found Bluewater but only had 2 hours to shop (because shops in England shut stupidly early)... that was probs a good thing tho cuz I would have bought a lot more! Then the night before my flight we went to Oceana in Kingston which was super fun! Better than the one in Notts poss as well.. the Ballroom was so much bigger! And Matt decided not to drink so he drove us there and back.. what a legend! The next day I finally got to go home! yaaay, I arrived Weds evening and dragged my bum to a few bars and then to Zouk. The music in Zouk and Phuture was awesome, a very good night overall. Then today I went shopping and saw Beanz in the evening which was coolio. I love being able to go out at night and not think about whether or not I should be wearing a jacket! awsomeness.
I really don't know if that made sense or whatever but I'm too sleepy to read it over or try and sound ffaaannncccyy. Sorry y'all.

Hello all,
This will be the first update in fo eva.
First of all a very very belated happy birthday to Sophia!
Notts has been fabulous recently. I have gotten very drunk on a number of occassions recently, Sunday being the worst. I was forced to go to a house party when I had planned to stay in. Before we went out we did shisha and drank white wine in Duncan's room (mmmm shisha!) and got quite tipsy. At the party us first years managed to drink an incredible amount. I had a weird blue alcopop, an orange one, bacardi breezers, red wine, vodka shots and beer. (way to mix drinks eh?!). Then when we stumbled back to hall I went into Anna's room who had a bottle of vodka left after the rag raid and started drinking that from the bottle. Good one. I have no memory after that except a tiny bit of lying on the floor in Sophs room (apparantly I called many a person in my phone book, and called my bf , Tom, to say that I was on the floor and wanted to get up, but couldn't). Apparantly I also tried to smoke shisha in this time but failed miserably. At some point I made it to my room (where apparantly I rang kye and told her friend Joe that I didn't want to talk to him.. :S) and lay down on my bed, heeled boots and all, until Tom came and helped me get into bed. Thank god for friends.
I also got v. drunk last Tuesday and don't remember a lot of that. This photo quite sums up the night:
Last night was far more chill, a bunch of us went over to my mates Emma's bfs flat to cook and eat pancakes. It was so fun! It's kinda made me look forward to houses next year, although I'm sure it won't be like that all the time. haha. After that I came back and watched 'Walk the Line' with Duncan... it's so good! highly recommended. Then after that Thomaso came over and hung out so I ended up staying up really late despite not going out as per.

Hello lovas
I am soooooo tired. I had the most amazing night last night... Isis is always fantabulous but last night was super for fun for some reason. First off I went to an Ann Summers party (tee hee) which was interesting. The number of vibrators they have is astounding! haha. Quite a few ppl placed orders as well, I think all the girls managed to spend 450 quid in total. wah lau. During the presentation me and Emma managed to finish off a jug and glass of cosmopolitan each. Good going I though. And I'd already had karni cocktail back in hall so I was rather squiffy when we left for Isis.
We got there and all the boys had had a rugby and football social so everyone was out, and we just danced and danced and danced for years. And as usual they played the best songs ever, there was Run It, Gold Digger, Set You Free, Base in the Place (kyeeeee!), that other really cool drum and base song that I don't know the name of, Insomnia etc etc. It rocked the socks. And my mates Alex and Jack bought aaaaall this Moet (they spent 300 quid on Moet and are now well and truely in their overdrafts) which i took great advantage of. ooo and I bumped into Jenae in the bathrooms.
When we got back to hall we went as usual to smoke sheesha/shisha (sp?!) in Eli's room.. mmmmm I love that stuff.
Then after finally getting to bed at 4ish I got woken up AGAIN at 730 by the fucking fire alarm. We all had to drag our hungover bums out into the cold to find that it was wasn't actually a drill. This is the second day in a row that has happened, it's getting annoying! And then I woke up for an 11 oclock lecture and walked all the way there (not easy on 3 and a half hours sleep with a hangover) only to find it wasn't on dammit.
This weekend I am going back home with my friend Sophie to Wales which should be cool... home cooked food and couches and television! Woo.
When is everyone going back to Spore? It's not actually that long til Easter! Time to get back home and into the heat, the cold is so not fun anymore. However there are rumours of snow for the middle of next week which would be super duper cool.

I really need to stop drinking.
Last night was our Ancy Booze Cruise (free flow for 20 quid) and trust, i drank my 20 quids worth. Very drunk.
On the way off the boat I running along the jetty, flying round the corner to hear a splash behind me. I walked back and looked in the Trent to see my the lights of my phone shining up from the bottom. I had successfully dropped my phone in the fucking Trent. I obviously thought it would be a fantabulous idea to jump in the Trent to get it, but the boys I was with thought otherwise, so after being restrained by James Paine I was carried (yes.. carried) off by Liam. These are all boys I don't know very well multiplying the embarrassment factor by a quizillion. In my drunkeness I started bawling my eyes out on lovely Liams shoulder when suddenly Pete came running up behind us yelling "Kerry I got your phone!!" I turned around to see a dripping Pete holding my mobile. He had gone in the river to get my phone. I hardly know this guy and it was probs about 2 degrees. How sweet is he?!?
So after drying my phone overnight, it works today! Except the space button and the number '9' are a bit dodgy, I don't care, it works.
After all that palaver however, I have come to the conclusion that I really really really really need to stop drinking. Or at least stop before I am completely bladdered.

I have tonsilitis... again. wtf. I only just had it. I woke up this morning and felt absolutely shocking and i just knew what it was. I started panicking cuz i was meant to have an exam today at 4 so i rushed over to the health centre and got an emergency appointment where she diagnosed me with 'severe tonsilitis'. Luckily when I told her about the exam she wouldn't let me take it and wrote me a note. phew. Although i think i would rather sit an exam than have tonsilitis. it huuuuurts! Everyone here is being lovely tho and keep checking on me. aw.
